General Tour Information and Sample Rates
Half-Day and Full-Day Escorted and Guided Tours
Oaxaca is truly blessed with an abundance of cultural and natural resources. Our state has everything from a cloud forest, to stunning Pacific Coast beaches, to amazing ancient archaeological cities such as Monte Alban, Lambityeco, Yagul etc nestled in the central valley. These sites allow a glimpse at the fascinating pre-Columbian past. Elegant and remarkable colonial architectural treasures such as Cuilapan, Santa Ana Zegache, Tlacochahuaya show us the unique transition from Indian to Christian theologies. Extraordinary folk art made by the hands of Zapotec Indians in various nearby villages continues the 3,000 year-old tradition of mythical imagery. Oaxaca is also the birthplace of world recognized modern artists such as Rodolfo Morales, Rufino Tamayo, and Francisco Toledo.
Oaxaca is also renowned for its rich Indian heritage. Travelers can experience these ethnic traditions first hand by visiting weekly Indian markets or communities in the nearby mountains where some groups still retain a native dress code, language, Indian government, customs, and community services.
The above information is simply a taste of what Oaxaca has to offer. The possibilities are endless. Programs are designed around your unique interests and hopefully will be more than just a tour, but a life changing learning experience.
We have new Autos, Vans and Buses with air conditioning-heating, liability insurance's and optimum comfort for your small, medium party or group.
We design special programs for Museum Members and Docent Groups.
For High School, College Students or Teachers Groups, we create programs that emphasize both on improving their Spanish language skills in local language schools and at the same time with cultural activities to add an in depth cultural experience and interaction with of our people and culture.
