This is one of the pre-Columbian cities in the Highlands of the Mixtec Mountains. It sits on top of today's village of San Martin and predates most other sites as it has an occupancy beginning in 400 B.C. The site is divided into three sections with a ball field, large temples and steles with written glyphs. In the village there is a community museum that shows a good reconstructed model of the site and also some of the relics found there, as well as traditional medicine used by locals.
