This is a site in the valley of Nochixtlan in the Mixtec Mountains. It's a pre-Classic site that was dedicated to farming and the trade of obsidian. It's one of the most studied Mixtec sites as it's also one of the earliest, beginning as early as 1,300 years before the Common Era. The town of San Juan next to the site has a small museum within its town hall that exhibits some of the relics found here as well as a stele in the courtyard of the plaza.
