Contemporary Art Museum of Oaxaca (rolando image google)

This museum has exhibited since 1992, with the help of the painter Francisco Toledo, to show all of the new and current contemporary art of Oaxaca.
The building is a beautiful XVIII century structure with even stone carved coat of arms of the families that owned it, above the entrance door. Inside at different places there are fragments of colonial murals that once decorated the house walls.
The Museum has also workshops in the back that offer art courses to kids and all interested in regular basis.
The museum has two levels and presents more than three exhibits at one time. There’s a good art book store and café to sit and enjoy a refreshing drink.
