Xaaga

This is a small village near Mitla that has authentic remains of a pre-Columbian set of buildings from the same time as Mitla and possibly from the same extended lineages that governed the valley at that time.
There are additionally a set of petroglyphs painted over large rocks on the hill side that are possible to walk to and see. These prehistoric paintings are over 10,000 years old and are easily visible, and the hike up to see them is relatively easy too.
