Temple of Santo Tomas in Ixtlan de Juarez

This is a beautiful building from the XVII and XVIII centuries nestled in the Sierra Juarez mountains. Its baroque interior keeps stunning gold plated altars and original oils in situ and is also famous for having baptized one of our national heroes, Don Benito Juarez, on March 21st, 1806.
